Back by very popular demand is our senior adults tour of the Painted Churches. Fr. Larry, who has written a book on the Painted Churches, will be our guide. A fee of $60 covers a barbecue lunch and transportation to five churches by chartered bus.

The Painted Churches of Texas were built by Czech and German immigrants in the late 1800s and early 1900s and feature incredible works of art inside. This road trip will take you through some of the most famous Painted Churches in Schulenburg and across Fayette County including:
St. Paul’s Lutheran
St. James Episcopal
St. John the Baptist Czech Catholic
St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption
Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

We will leave St. Theresa shortly after a 7:30 a.m. check-in and return around 5pm.
