FlipGrid Resources

Please see our webinar below for basic FlipGrid instructions.  Written instructions are down below, if that is preferred.  Please contact us (information below)  for assistance if you have misplaced your child's access information.

Access FlipGrid for your child's lesson in one of two ways:

• Scan your child’s Student Badge QR code using a smart device (code inside the cover of your child's textbook or emailed to you by Christine)
• Go to www.info.flipgrid.com, enter the group FlipCode (for example, sttheresaaustingr3) and when prompted, enter the username provided.

• VIDEOS: There are different videos weekly to correspond with each lesson. 
• TEXTBOOK: We have purchased a digital textbook for your 1st -5th grade child (in addition to the physical textbook you received in your child's family packet). The link to access this textbook is on FlipGrid.
• The Home Session Plan will assist you, as your child’s primary catechist, in presenting the chapter to your child.  It is a step-by-step guide for going through the chapter.
• The Interactive Review on the publisher website uses the same questions that the E-assessment does, so it is a tool to ensure your child has comprehended the chapter being covered.
• The E-assessment link will take you to the weekly 10-question quiz, the results of which are programmed to come straight to our St. Theresa homework email address (stthomework@gmail.com).  If you do not have a parent account on the publisher website (aliveinchrist.osv.com/...), you may need to create one for ease of use each week. *Attendance is recorded using these submitted assessments.* 
• Your child also has the option of recording a video response to the prompt for each lesson on FlipGrid.  This is a great way for the volunteer catechists to get to know the children and for each class to interact as a whole during this time of virtual catechesis.
