The Pastoral Plan serves as a guide for our parish as we pursue our mission of making disciples for Christ. The plan is our response to the pastoral plan of the diocese and calls for our parish to encounter Jesus Christ intentionally, to approach discipleship intentionally and, in so doing, transform the world in which we live.
Embracing the Great Commission
Background
After months of consideration, the Pastoral Council, in consultation with the Finance Council, began the process of establishing a Pastoral Plan for St. Theresa that complements the Diocesan Pastoral Plan. It was a prayerful and participative planning process through which our Parish characterized itself as a particular community of faith by developing its own vision; assessing its strengths and resources, limitations and needs; establishing priorities and goals; and devising ways to accomplish its mission. Pastoral Planning helps us answer the questions: Who are we as a parish? What are we called to do? How are we best able to do it?
We ask for your prayers for the Council and our Parish leadership as we implement the Pastoral Plan.
