The role of a sponsor is to walk with the catechumen or candidate as they journy into the Church. This is done through presence, relationship and witness. Sponsors participate in class along with their catechumen or candidate and help them at each point of discernment. We offer a brief interview and training to prepare the sponsor for this vital role!
