Helping Hands Funeral Ministry
The Helping Hands Committee is a funeral ministry dedicated to assisting our fellow parishioners at the time of the death of a family member. We assist the family in making arrangements for a reception if the family chooses to have one. Parishioners may sign up to assist at the reception or just provide food for the reception. Time commitment and frequency will vary according to circumstance. This is an "as needed" ministry.
Spiritual Direction and Mentorship
Spiritual directors and mentors help guide a person to truly live their life under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Spiritual direction according to the Bible refers to:
- Being guided by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14)
- Living under the influence of the Holy Spirit (Col. 1:19)
- A Life lived in and through the Holy Spirit (Rom 8: 9-11)
